Cookies policy

This policy explains what is stored in your browser when you visit this site. It describes what the site actually does, not what such pages usually claim.

1. What we do NOT use

This site uses no analytics, advertising or profiling cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no social network pixel and no remarketing tag. No third-party cookie is set when you arrive.

The previous notice on the site («by continuing to browse you accept the use of cookies») was not valid under the GDPR or the Spanish DPA cookie guidance, because browsing is not consent. It has been replaced by a notice with two real options, accept and reject, on equal terms.

2. What is stored

That is the only key this site writes. It holds the value acepto or rechazo. It contains no identifier, it is never sent to a server, and it cannot be used to recognise you across visits from another device. Because it is strictly necessary to remember your own decision, it is exempt from prior consent.

3. The Google map

The contact section does not load the map automatically: it shows a button. The Google Maps embed is only inserted if you click it. Until then your browser makes no connection to Google from this page.

If you do load it, Google may process your IP address and use its own cookies under its privacy policy. Not clicking the button is enough to avoid this.

4. External fonts and libraries

Typography is served from Google Fonts and the animation libraries from cdnjs and jsDelivr. Those services receive your IP address when the files are downloaded, but set no cookies with that request. [CONSIDER SELF-HOSTING FONTS AND LIBRARIES]

5. The technical notebook

Blog entries are read live from the WordPress API hosted on this same domain. It is a first-party call with no cookies. If it does not answer, four entries stored in the page itself are shown and no error is displayed.

The article pages are still served by WordPress and may set their own technical session cookies if you comment or sign in.

6. Changing your mind

Clearing the site data in your browser (history → site data) removes the stored key and the notice will appear again on your next visit.
